Japanese Knotweed was situated on the top of a 6 foot high retaining wall that boarded an access road between two businesses. The growth of the Japanese Knotweed had started to damage the wall and break through the mortar course.
When vehicles drove past the plant they were inadvertently aiding in the potential spread by breaking off leaves and stems when passing by.
The plant was successfully treated to prevent any further spread and damage to the wall.

Sandiacre, Derbyshire
Japanese Knotweed was located in one rear garden of a small terrace comprising of 4 houses. The property that had the Japanese Knotweed had previously paid a company who had unsuccessfully treated the weed.
The neighbouring home owner, to the effected property, had advertised their house on the market. When the potential purchasers carried out a property survey it revealed that Japanese Knotweed was located within a 7m radius of the house. This then lead to compilations with the purchase of the property which resulted in the house being taken off the market.
Due to the prolific nature of the plant the whole of this specific garden needed to be treated to ensure no juvenile growth was missed.
